HOME OF THE ROOTS

The Company currently runs with two KME Engines. Both are custom made by KME Fire Apparatus. The color 1968 Cadillac blue was first seen on the 1971 Mack that was in service from 1971 to 2005 which we still use today for parades and block parties. Then came the 1981 Darley that served from 1981 to 1997. The first KME was purchased in 1997 (AKA 775) Along with the purchase of a 2006 KME (AKA 776).

776 is currently the first Engine out and backed up by 775.

Interested in honoring the memory of a loved one or a tribute to someone who has touched your life in one way or another, or becoming a part of the Hosey yourself? You can do so by sponsoring a ceiling tile which will be placed in the engine room. The ceiling is being replaced with tiles that closely match the old tin ceiling that was removed during the extensive renovation. Names will be placed on each tile on the top side, In memory of:, In honor of:, etc. and a plaque will be displayed with all sponsor's names on it. The cost is $10 per tile or 6 tiles for $50. For more information please contact Russ Arnold at rcarnold60@verizon.net or call 570-668-4921.

Saturday training for the month of May included rural water movement concepts. This allowed for pump operators to review water movement concepts. Thank you to West Penn Township Fire Company, Hometown Fire Company, and Tuscarora Fire Company for participating in this training.
