Tamaqua Ladder and RIT along with many surrounding fire departments responded to a working structure fire Sunday (1-20-2008) evening at 9:42pm at the West Penn Municipal Building.
2-3-08 a general alarm came in as a structure fire 428 East Union Street.
Upon arrival it was found to be a Electrical fire with minor damage caused by a Power strip overload.
Tamaqua fire dept was dispatched for a working structure at 300 East Broad Street.
3:42am the call came in for a business fire upon arrival there was heavy smoke on division 2
and flames on the south side of the building the fire was under control with in the hour.
The Tamaqua R.I.T Team was dispatched at 6:37 am on the morning of 3-31-08 for a house fire fully involved.
Early Saturday morning(4/26/08) at 1:18am All stations responded to 531 Willing st for a structure fire .

At 11:36am Station 1 was dispatched for a rekindle at 209 Schuylkill Av. 776 reponded with full crew. Minutes later a second dispatch for a MVA at 242 Cedar st which 775 reponded with a full crew. 10-24-08
A dispatch for a house fire came into all Tamaqua Fire Co.at 1:11pm 10-23-08. They responded to 204 Schuylkill Ave to a working structure fire. Crews remained on scene for many hours.
